What is radon?

Radon is a colourless, odourless radioactive gas produced naturally by the decay of uranium in soil, rock and water. It can build up in enclosed spaces, especially underground or poorly ventilated areas.

Prolonged exposure to high radon levels is linked to a higher risk of lung cancer. Measuring its levels is key to preventing risks and ensuring a safe environment.
